Tina altered the shift assignments again as she came into sickbay,
her recalcitrant patient in tow. There was no reason why one of her overworked nurses should have to come in for the next shift if she was going to be there anyway, which it seemed she was. Perhaps she should consider just moving in. But that thought led to thinking about McCoy's cot in his office and... No.
"Over here," Tina said, guiding Spock to sit on the biobed that was closest to the far wall of sickbay. "Hang on for a second and I'll get the osteogenic regenerator. Then I'll do some scans, go over your clavicle again, and we'll be done. Okay?"
Waiting just long enough for Spock's cautious nod, she hurried to assemble her equipment, and got to work. The scans came out clean, thank goodness, and the bone knitting wouldn't be any real trouble. She secured Spock's arm in a temporary sling to take pressure off the bone and turned on the regenerator. As the machine hummed along in her hands, she glanced around sickbay, taking in all of the occupants. It was a bit of a full house, though that wasn't really surprising. Maybe she'd get a chance to chat with a few people when she was done with Spock.
