This was very helpful :) But very frustrating as well (the part about the 200 prints and print shop really made me mad; why is that allowed???). Nevertheless I learned a lot.
also, pay attention to the rights bit. if you assign rights to the client, they own your work, if you LICENSE them to your client, you still own your work. even if they hold the original...then there are the moral rights, that they cannot alter your work...as you still own it, and hold these moral rights. the 200 plus prints thing, read thru the fair use part, as copyright is a case by case thing, the original is covered, but the 200 or more makes it no longer (for the prints) original work.
