I got a job! I got a job where I am allowed to read or write when I'm not busy. It's full time and it pays better than I was looking for with plenty of room for advancement. I'm really happy now, because I was worried I was going to have to work at IHOP. I'm so glad I don't have to wait tables again. The temp agency actually helped me out. I ( Read more... )

how'd you hit a cactus?

I was rear ended on the highway and it spun my car into the median. The cactus actually saved me from going into oncoming traffic, so I don't mind, but it tore out a huge chunk of the undecarriage of my car. That was back when I still lived in Phoenix though. (I suppose that's obvious though, there are no cactus in Oklahoma big enough to stop a car from hitting oncoming traffic.)
