I'm about to go take my GRE. Yes, I've been to two grad schools without taking this damned test. I have a rant about standardized testing, but it's not appropriate here. All I know is that I think it is a bit ridiculous that I'm doing to get penalized for not doing pre-algebra in 15 years and have been having a hard time remembering stupid rules

A thousand good lucks to you! That test is just grrrrrrrrr!!!! I did all right when I took it, but damn, I hate standardized tests, too, and I do not test well on SAT/GRE type tests, but LOVED the ACT.

I got a 1290, so I'm happy. I'm a pretty good test taker, so I wasn't worried too much except that if I don't know the material or am unsure of it, then it's a bit harder.
