I'm running my first marathon this fall. I'm interested in doing it sometime AFTER Oct 1. Mostly because I'd like to be able to adjust into the quarter and I prefer to run in the early fall. Now, Oct 1 is not early fall around me, but I want to head a bit southish for it, so it is for what I'm looking at.

For the love of God, do not come to Denver to run a marathon. It took about six months after moving here for my respiratory system to get used to exercising here and still, like when I'm getting over being sick, I get really raspy. Just say no.

The Nike one looked really intriguing to me, too, but I'm just glad that Nike is finally focusing on women. Go Nike. Others that I've considered: Walt Disney World, Chicago, the PF Chang's Rock and Roll one in Arizona and LA. I've never had an urge to do New York and you have to qualify for Boston.

I won't. I'm not stupid. I would die in the attempt to run in Denver. It would be tragic.

I'm glad as well. It's a very large marathon, apparently 15,000 or so women from what they were saying.

Disney doesn't look bad and perhaps I can con you into running it with me? Want to do Chicago, but not this year. The Chang's marathons are good, but I think the timing was wierd or something. I can't remember why I ruled them out.

I do like the course on teh Disney marathon. It looks quite good. It's a bit later int eh season then I wanted, but then maybe I could run the AF Marathon and the Disney, since they'll be about 3 1/2 months apart. That's something to think about.
