I'm not supposed to be blogging today. I know, I know, I'm a grownup, and self-employed, and I work from home, so my life should have very few have-tos and not-supposed-tos. But somehow, it never works that way

Oh, wow! A writing retreat!!! I so want to go to one too!!! Is it something you guys organized yourselves? Like, you pick the place and book the room and airfare and that's it? Anything more writer-like? I'm just wondering, that's all.
I think that even if you didn't get to go, you're still lucky that you have the time to write from home. I wish I did too, but between my husband and exhaustion (after 9 hours at work), it feels kind of unreachable. Now and then I'd jot down a note in my journal, but it's so not enough...
