Weird. To me, it actually looks like they slimmed Faythe in the UK one.

I think the image of the UK one just came out smaller here than the other one, for some reason. ;-)

They did resize it a little (you can tell because her bum moved up) but I still think she got thinned out a bit, especially judging by how thin the scratches are now.

Makes me even MORE bummed about Murder One closing down. I ordered these a while back when the sales rep came in... :(

The tighter font on your byline makes it a little easier to read for me. I think I like the UK cover just a bit more--the image is less cluttered and it's easier to read--also makes the Kim Harrison quote pop out a bit more.

I wonder why they decided such seemingly minor changes were necessary? Would be interesting to hear the logic behind that. In other news, Amazon shipped my copy of Pride today. YAAAHHH!! I'll probably have it all read by Sunday. Waaah! ;)

Ooh, exciting! Although my local Waterstones has carried the US version of Stray for a while now. But I always love it when the UK versions appear as it means I can support my local bookshops rather than buying on Amazon.
