(I think that, as the mom, you are TOTALLY within your rights to spend as much as you'd like to make sure that you get the food that you want, as promptly as you'd like it.
I mean come on, this is literally a once-in-a-lifetime event. Even if you end up having more kids, Ryu-chan will only have ONE baby naming. Might as well make sure that everything that can go smoothly/deliciously does!)
My aunt won't use the internet as far as I know and it's a Jewish holiday today so definitely no internet XD;
I have a few cousins who use Facebook, but I think they all have issues with their mom at times and I doubt would squeal.
Its just frustrating because while I appreciate her worrying about our budget ahead of time for us, I really do not want to have to rely on someone else to bring our food to us. If I am paying for a caterer, I want someone who will make sure the food is there when the event starts and is ready to go.
And honestly, I would rather pay more for non-mediocre food, unless Kennis says we're going to be overbudget otherwise.

I know your family is trying to help, but honestly it's yours and Kennis' money so it's nobody else's business how you spend it. They have their priorities and budgets and you have yours. If you have the means and desire, go ahead and get the stroller you want and the caterer you want!
I wish you were here to attend as well! But it went well and I am hopeful that the baby naming will work out.
I understand why they want me to budget but I also sold off a bunch of dolls just so I can splurge on a stroller. I do care about the budget with the caterer and if the one is outrageous, he will be cut but I am willing to spend more than 500-1000 to have a good baby naming. It's not like I plan to have lots more lol
