RWT was some kind of crack, all right...

And speaking of crack, I am now three episodes into Sengoku Basara. I'd forgotten how OTT and action-packed shounen anime is - I've been on dramas too much lately. It might be the gayest thing I've watched all year, actually, and Sanada accounts for a good chunk of that. Date's random English makes me cringe a little but it's not like the show takes itself seriously, so neither will I. They just take rivalries seriously. God forbid you should get in the way of a man's intense rivalry with his worthy destined opponent!

I'm going to take a stab at season 2 of Code Geass next, so I will be all prepared for February. Have booked hotel now - Sunshine City Prince - though they did originally have it under 'Mr.', until I pointed out to them that I'm female. It's a bit disconcerting getting emails addressed "Dear Sir"!

Isn't Basara super gay???? I love Date and his Engrish, it is hard to resist a one eyed dragons who wants me to get my guns on. I think he and Sanada are so so so so so slashy and coupley and I swear I thought Kenshin was slashing them as well. lol I also adore Kenshin/Takeda. Overall I love the whole cast though. I sort of want to do Basara for SCC.

Code Geass R2 seriously needed someone to come in and keep it consistent. It goes from being awful to hilarious to amazing and back and forth. Suzaku is so made of wangst and angst, just call him Subaru Jr.
