I see that in Bulgaria too! When someone gets something or something good happens for someone else, I always hear, "nothing like that happens for me. We are so poor and helpless and nothing ever changes..blah blah blah. OK i have to go and drink coffee all day and not work while moaning about how broke I am"

I saw that in Bulgaria, too! In fact, it was probably worse than in Slovakia. Maybe not as pronounced as here, because, strange as it may sound, Bulgaria overall is doing well, advancing economically, and among the top 60 economies in the world. Count your blessings!

I've been wondering about your PC NE group -- will you compare and contrast Runzas to Pyrogues? ;-)

No, it's more like I would like to find some expats, preferably pc expats when I get home. There is currently no rpcv group in the entire state! So that's what it's for..I hope!

Well, my Dean from City U, and his Slovak wife, seem to be back in the Midwest these days. Total Nebraska boy. His input would be far more valuable than mine. I think he is in Chicago now, but he and his wife were in a small town South of Omaha and he has moving around there a lot. Say yes and tell me an e-mail address to him, or an e-mail address, or I will send his to yours.

He loves to talk about BG, he was left alone by the US admin to manage our little campus, and you have no idea how many difficulties he encountered -- wait, you're one of the few people who actually has an idea . . . and then some.

But Runzas are pretty good . . . .
