"It's alright," she said, offhandedly as she tucked her hair behind her ears. "It's a tight squeeze in here."

She put her hands on her hips as she looked up at him, surprised to see a bloke these days that was taller than she was. She smiled at him, a cheeky grin spreading across her lips.
"Because that would be just a wretched thing to go to a girl you've just met."

This was actually pretty refreshing. Normally, the girls Roger met were either bland and gorgeous or plain and interesting. Attractiveness and interesting didn't tend to mix in his experience. So far, however, this one seemed different.
"How would I have gone about actually making something like that up to you? Even I'm not that creative and that's saying something." Okay, he talked a big game; it couldn't be helped.
