So in our Weekly MV Smallville RadioCast Kate mentioned that escape felt like a messed up episode of "Charmed" upon reflection I've determined right genre, wrong show. I've come to one conclusion Genevieve is obsessed with LEGEND OF THE SEEKER

Yeah but her use of the term "underworld" was the dead giveaway - it was completely out of nowhere. Also Tess was so Mistress Denna it wasn't even funny.
