The "just standing there" part is worse than the lawyer thing to me. What a SNOT. She probably says the lawyer thing all the time.

Don't you just hate interacting with strangers sometimes?
Of course, the pay-off is that sometimes it can be rewarding.
Usually, though, it's hard work and disappointing, also often damaging to the ego.
