...what's this about a Snapelets fic? How did I miss this, is there anything available currently?Which made me realize that I've never really posted a coherent message about this particular WiP, I've just gone on merrily assuming people knew about it. But unless you've been following my blog as well

Sorry, this is probably my "wrong-side of 40" age speaking, but I find it increasingly hard to empathize with women who have a great love of the week (and I've never really liked it in men either).

I'm confused. Who's falling in love with Sydney, or vice versa, who wasn't already smitten with her as of last season? I agree she's got a daunting number of would-be suitors in the queue, but then, she always did. If anything, the number of WBS's has gone down this season, now that Vaughn's married and Marshall's involved with Carrie...
Anyway, other than that very stupid one-shot in the first season with her old boyfriend who turned out to be a contract killer, I can't think of anybody besides Vaughn that Sydney's actually had a romance with. So the "great love of the week" thing is confusing me.
Not that I'm a big Syd Defender or anything. Jack/Irina is still my true OTP -- even I have to admit that Syd/Weiss is a long shot.

(Given a choice, I think I'd be a mad Malcolm fangirl. I mean, how can you not love a guy with what's clearly inherited talent for being Indiana Jones plus magic and minus the clingy babe of the week?)

As for Malcolm, I agree -- he's the gem of the bunch. I really need to finish this dinner party scene, which will hopefully give him a chance to come more to the forefront for a change.
Sending you the URL for the Albion fic now...
