Two quasi-romantic and not too spoilery excerpts for Valentine's Day

Feb 14, 2011 14:56

I've seen other authors doing this and it looked like fun, so here I go!

The first excerpt is from Arrow, so it comes with a mild spoiler warning for that book and a not-so-mild one for Rebel a.k.a. Wayfarer:

'May I ask you a personal question?' )

arrow, romance, writing, ultraviolet

Cannot WAIT to read "Ultraviolet"! You sure you don't need a Dane to review an ARC for you? No? Alright then, I'll just sit here and work on my patience then ;-)

Already have ordered Arrow off amazon.co.uk :-)

I am delighted that you are eager to read it! I am eager for people to read it too! And I hope you will enjoy ARROW.

I have not listened to Maggie's excerpt yet! I need to read LINGER first -- am very behind!

Also, I see that I am tragically lacking in romantic icons.

I think people will like it. I couldn't put it down and we are about to introduce ourselves into the mystery that is the chocolate Mintie

Oh my word, do you realize that ALL THIS TIME I had no idea that you were jessanndi?!

*facepalm*

I am very glad you liked the book, in any case, and I hope you all like the Minties!

That is an excellent tradition, and though the excerpt from Arrow is lovely and intriguing, the one from Ultraviolet makes me jump up and down in glee (and think "oh, I think I remember that scene from before!") and go is it September yet. Thanks for the teasers!

Yes, I felt a bit bad about posting something I'd posted (albeit in another form) before, but anything else would be too spoilery! Glad you're still excited about UV after listening to me blather about it for years and years... :D
