AVATAR fans! Look what I found!

It is sad to me that every time I mention Avatar I have to specify that I mean the cartoon series subtitled The Last Airbender only and not the stupid movie (or that other Avatar with the blue people either). I'll be glad when Legend of Korra starts and we can get away from all that for a bit ( Read more... )

Oooooh that's awesome!!! I love Avatar (and yeah, I'm with you, it's really sad that you have to specify that it's Avatar: The Last Airbender, the cartoon).
This looks great!

*hyperventilates* I absolutely fangirl this comic. Beautifully drawn, and such brilliant characterization. Honestly, when I watch the show now, I re-interpret Zhao accordingly, it affected my perspective that much. And Nauja...Nauja is LOVE. The dynamic between her and Zhao is so delightful. ^_^

Yay, another fan! (Also, your icon is WONDERFUL. Suki! So much love for Suki!)

Did you know there's a fifth part (of sorts) on her LiveJournal? It took me a while to find a link where I could conveniently access all the pages, but even though it's a first draft and has lots of summing-up pages, it's still pretty good.

Suki is made of win. :D

Yes! Though now that you mention it, I think I bookmarked the rest of it for later reading and forgot about it due to escalating busyness. I'll have to look it up now! :D

Oh, okay, now I understand! When I read your tweet, I was thinking, "You mean RJ LIKED that movie?" I refused to see that movie*. But I've loved what I've seen of the show. Unfortunately, as with Dr. Who, I am way behind, and not sure I'll ever catch up.

The link looks interesting. Would it make any sense if I hadn't seen the show recently?

*Either movie, actually. Some of what I heard about the Blue people one made me a bit queasy, and, as for the one that was such a travesty of the TV show - why??

I'm making reasonable sense of it and I haven't seen the show at all.

Well, I've picked up a little general information from people talking about it. And I may have lower standards for "making sense of" than some people, since I read fanfic for things I've never read and pick up books mid-series, and just cope with the missing backstory.
