I pre-ordered my copy of Rebel, and it was fantastic and completely amazing and so I must step aside and let someone else fall under your spell! (: But I just wanted to mention something small, the extra scrolling thing in the layout of your blog makes it sort of hard to access your blog site by mobile (or maybe just the Safari browser). I mean there's definitely ways of getting around it and I love the scrolly bar in Internet Explorer! It's really pretty and brown! But I thought I should mention it just in case some other people have been experiencing difficulties and I feel really awkward like a person at a party who has to tell me I have spinach in my teeth BUT anyway it's a really minor thing and I love your layout. It's just a minor niggly thing. I hope you're not offended!

I can't wait for Arrow!! Oh my gosh I love the Aussie editions. I know they're technically UK editions but... I totally get a kick seeing them on shelves here.

I apologize for the layout difficulties -- my web designer is looking into them. No need to feel badly about letting me know, I'm glad you did!

In the meantime, however, you might try some of the suggestions on this FAQ page for viewing LiveJournals on mobile? Sounds like they have an entry page specifically set up to solve these kinds of problems for mobile users...

And thank you so much for the lovely enthusiastic words about REBEL and looking forward to ARROW!

I love a good story. And Knife was a great story. Like mary_j_59 I will be buying it for the library, but I love having signed copies, especially from writers I know. Well, I only know you online so far, but one of these days...

I am going to write you a sonnet about why I should win (which may be difficult given that I just concluded a lengthy IM conversation in trochaic tetrameter).

I hope this A for Effort thing will work
Because I really, really want the book
And though this post may like a sonnet look
It's "literary merit" makes you smirk
I recently was browsing 'bout the shelves
To find a book to borrow and to read
'Cause at my job a book is what you need
To keep from going nuts and seeing elves
(Though seeing elves might yet be rather fun)
In any case, I saw before me Knife
And squealed as I had not in all my life
And then began to read it at a run
And so I really hope that I will win
So I can learn what trouble she gets in

Pretty please? With kittens on top?

Ok, the crazy sonnet one was mine, I seem to have been forcibly logged off for some reason.

I wonder who will win. Snce I have already read Rebel I don't have to worry about fighting off the many other of your fans! It was a great book and I have managed to convince a few people to read it, though one was pretty much a last minute save for forgetting a book but now their begging me to tell them what happens. Shows you that the symphony of words written in this book are wonderful!
