Not guessing - I cannot begin to guess. But I do want to congratulate you on your new machine, being a mac evangelist. They are great! It's actually scary how much you can do with them; I love garageband. )

Ooh, what does Garageband do? I assume it's some sort of music editing program?

Yes - editing and composing, via real instruments and an extensive loop library. We've used it to record all our songs for the Gringotts Grrls. You can get a pretty cheap usb mic for voiceovers, etc - btw, we also do the library podcasts (preliminary editing) using Garageband. When we spoke to you, Deirdre and Maria recorded the Skype conversation and transferred it to Garageband. Then Deirdre edited and added loops and posted it.

I, on the other hand, had to have the kids show me how it worked, but it's a great program! You can even 'play the piano' using your computer keyboard. )
