I have three books on Welsh folklore coming to me in about ten minutes, but in the meantime I am haunting the workstations at the National Library of Wales. Eeee! The book geek in me is in ecstasy here

Oh! Lovely! My parents trip to Wales made me determined to go there eventually. I'm sure the library is gorgeous. Cheers!
(btw, thank you so much for your advice about agent. She did get back to me and asked for a full rewrite which I'm about 20% of the way through. Meanwhile 2nd agent has full ms.)
Oh yes, pictures pretty please! My boyfriend, cruentum, emailed me today, all excited, "You have someone new on your flist, and she's in WALES! WHERE DID YOU FIND HER?" Or something to that effect. He's somewhat in love with, well, John Barrowman, which led to an exploration of things he's done in the past, which has brushed against this and that and suddenly, N is transfixed with the possibility of learning the Welsh language. (N is German, doing an internship here in the States at my local university.) I know for certain now he'll be tromping around those parts eventually--I just hope to be able to join him here and there (ahhh the challenges of the long-distance thing).
So, looking forward to the pictures, and I know he'll be lurking and drinking in all you share. (and sorry for the multiple edits, the word 'in' would not behave and I just couldn't leave it there!) :)
If you can make it out to Hay-On-Wye (near Brecon), you absolutely should. Used book capital of the world! (Otherwise known as, reader's paradise. :D )

You know, JRRT grew up near the Welsh border, and Sindarin was inspired by Welsh...
