It is just as I always suspected. THE DELGADO MASTER IS MADE OF WIN.

What I did not expect was to find that Jo Grant is also MADE OF WIN. She has great fashion sense, can communicate effectively by doing charades, take a man twice her size in a badly choreographed fight -- no, wait, make that three men twice her size each in two badly

I can take or leave Jo Grant; I preferred Liz Shaw and was sorry to see her go. But, no matter who he's with, it's always and only Three for me!

I find him the most Holmesian of the Doctors. And, unless I'm misremembering, the flavor of his era was proper sci-fi: more rationalism, less woo-woo.
