In order to protect myself from HP 7 spoilers, which apparently are already floating around the web (somebody on a non-HP community I visited yesterday had a spoiler icon and was using it freely, which made me furious -- my only hope now is that it was a made-up spoiler instead of a real one), I am having to disable anonymous commenting for the ( Read more... )

I'll probably discuss HP7 after it comes out but I'll have all spoilers under a cut to spare people, since there's nothing as irritating as having surprises ruined for you. As for myself, I'll probably avoid livejournal until I've read it.

My journal, as ever, is safe for Harry Potter spoilers until after the book comes out.

However I can't guarantee that I won't spoil for the next Honorverse book, the plot device in some stories from 2006 issues of Analog, or a couple of 5-year-old anime that I'm watching. ;)

Given that I don't talk about HP, no worries from this blogger-of-sorts.

It stinks that people are spoiling stuff for fans; it's annoying.

I'm going all media blackout a day or two before I get the book and won't even watch the news until I finish it. I'm terrified of being spoiled!
