Fic Identity Meme

This is a mega-cool idea for a meme, although like yahtzee63 (from whom I gacked it just now) I think I'm going to have a hard time answering it for anybody else. Still:

Pretend for a minute that the only contact you have ever had with me is through my fic. We've never exchanged LJ comments or emails, never hung out in chat or on IM, never talked on the ( Read more... )

Mid-way through the D&L trilogy, I began to suspect that you might be a Christian...I think the fact that Snape and Maud didn't jump into bed at first opportunity was a clue. :P

I had those same thoughts, Katinka! :D I also assumed that you were an adult- the D&L trilogy has a maturity about it that only comes through living life and experiencing things.

I'd think you were a 45-year-old dude with a major thing for much younger women.

Judging from the characterisation of Mulder and Scully in "Posessions", you're someone who believes that deep love doesn't require there to be a sexual component of that. Judging from the Doctor and Thea's marriage, you consider sex to be a great gift, a culmination of a commitment which is marriage. Adding in the titles "Sacred Rites", "Pennance", "Sacrifice" and "Communion" and one could guess that you're a Christian in a traditional/conservative denomination. On the other hand, it can't be too conservative, or you wouldn't be writing fan fiction at all.

The remarks that Thea makes about her home town, and the descriptions of it, hint that you've either lived there or at least stayed there, which do leave a clue that you could be Canadian.

D&L sticks out most in my mind when I think of you, too, since it was the first thing of yours I'd ever read. Roughly in the order these thoughts occurred to me ( ... )

So far I think I've only read one of your Doctor Who stories and the first part of Galatea (which I'm looking forward to the rest of, but I've been too busy for much LJ-ing). But from those I would guess that you're incredibly talented and a perfectionist, and that you like puzzles.
