Invent a memory of me and post it in the comments. It can be anything you want, so long as it's something that's never happened. Then, of course, post this to your journal and see what people would like to remember of you, only the universe failed to cooperate in making it happen so they had to make it up instead.Hee! The snow lay heavily all around sparking in the sunlight, yet the cold pinched your nose and stung your throat everytime you yelled in pleasure as yet another snowball hit the wall of the treehouse you were sheltering in. High up the old beech tree, you looked down on your friends in there mismatched hats and scarves, snow encrusted on their mittens. Another thump as a snowball hit its target, then you heard a voice. "Hot chocolate for all you snowmen." and you climbed down to the ground to clutch the comforting mug with its flotiller of marshmallows.

Hey, remember that time we were in high school and we were driving around and arguing about whether we should listen to my new Depeche Mode tape or your old Duran Duran tape, and I said, "Eww, not Rio again, I've heard that, like, soooo many times", and you said, "Well, it's my car, so we get to listen to what I want," so I got mad and ripped your acid-wash jeans and you said, "thanks, now they look totally even more rad". And then we decided to go through the drive-thru at McDonald's and prank them so we ordered a large Coke in a small cup and a double cheeseburger with no meat and no cheese. And they argued with us and we thought it was sooooo funny? You don't remember that? Yeah, me either.

We sat in that crowded, smoky coffee shop at two in the morning, Harry Potter books splayed across the table in front of us. You had Chamber in your lap; I was hunched over Prisoner. We'd been at it for hours, and we're almost out of red pens and legal pads.

"Think we can find R/H as early as Stone?" I asked. You threw your pen at me. We laughed about that for probably half an hour. Nimbus was in less than six days, and our presentation was going to rock socks.

"How about this?" You showed me something on your legal pad, but it was way too early in the morning for me to process.

"It smells pink in here." Another pen to the forehead. Good times.

Remember?

It was last summer when I came to see you to escape the heat. We went, with the kidlets, to the park, and built castles in the sandbox and then chased Nicholas and Simon around until they were exhausted. We came back to your house, watched X-Files and read Harry Potter until it was time for me to leave.
