As I've spent a lot of energy inwardly focused, considering how I spend my attention and energy, I also have noticed that there are books around that I've read and don't need anymore, or that I purchased and know I'll never get around to reading. This is just the first pass, I suspect I'll be doing this again with more books soon ( Read more... )

Would it be accurate to assume that since these are the self-help books you are throwing away, they are the ones you thought sucked?

I'm interested in Managing & Using MySQL, with the caveat that I'd need to figure out how to fire brigade it out this way, so if anyone else dibs it who can actually show up in person, I relinquish claim.

It's for MySQL 4, it's pretty old hat at this point. If you're more of a techie than I realize and can filter out what's no longer relevant, you're more than welcome to it.

Is there anyway I can put a claim on the 2nd Edition Player's Handbook and then figure out someway to get it from you before next Friday?
