Hokuto grinned at the... well, it could have been a girl nearby. It also could have been a boy. But in Hokuto's mind, if she wasn't sure, a female pronoun would be assigned until corrected. "You look vaguely familiar," she observed. "Are you a university student?"

"I don't need anything else." he snapped. His tone was rough, animosity sparking in dark blue depths. It wasn't her fault, she'd even served him promptly, but he didn't particularly care to spare her feelings. If he had to suffer, so did a few others.
It was then he felt a hand on his shoulder, making him jump ever so slightly, and he looked back to see Balthier. Finally they were here! Though he hadn't been waiting that long, it was long enough to put him into a worse mood than he had been in since the little shopping excursion earlier. "About fucking time."

Clutching tight to Basch's hand, Balthier adjusted the zip-front shirt he was wearing a little. It was warm in here, so he tugged the zipper down just a little. It wasn't much, but it would help some of his body heat escape a little. Overheating in a club wasn't something he ever wanted to do--especially in front of Basch. The man would have a heartache from all the worrying and apologizing he would do.
