Pissed at the world right now

I don't know why, but I am really just annoyed at the whole world right now. I'm not going to go find a gun and kill everyone, but I just want everyone to go away for a while. Let me recharge my social battery, damn it! But the problem is I work at walmart, and not all of the people I know understand my anti-social tendencies

O Gosh, I know what you mean. Because I've been that emotional needy person who doesn't really know how to make friends but latches onto someone who seems nice and has proximity (There was this one year at summer camp in middle school...) But I've also been that person who needs space, who goes home for Thanksgiving and gets a headache and a sore throat because I don't talk that much in a day ever and there's never three different conversations going on around me. And if this girl is as fragile as you describe there's probably no way you can explain that you just need space and are sometimes anti-social without her taking it personally. You might try if she presses the issue, but.... I think you're doing the only thing you can do. Avoiding her is better than biting her head off. Maybe there's some way you can be nice to her by helping her at work that doesn't involve actually interacting with her so much
