How is Eragon? I've been kind of curious ever since I saw the posters for the movie (which is supposed to suck, btw), but I'm afraid that it will be a very disappointing pseudo-Harry Potter series. So... is it?

I don't think so. It was written by a 17 year old, and I can tell, but it is a good book nonetheless. I think you should give it a try.

I just bough Lisey's Story by Stephen King. I haven't read it yet, however. I'm in the middle of another series The Crown of Stars by Kate Elliot. OMG why can't I have my own half insane half human prince?
