First cold of the season, called out of work today. I wanted to try and make it, b/c it's only a four hour shift, but I'm at the hacking cough/phlegm all around stage, and, um, yeah, no. When you work in a grocery store, the customers don't want the extra phlegm. I still feel bad about it, b/c, come on, it's only four hours and I am still capable

Yes, it is very blah up in Statesville.

Blahs are not helping the fact that my day is CRAZY on all levels, and I only have 3 days to get all my shit together for next week. Almost regretting going to this con. Almost.

Good news: mom comes home today. This is good for not only me (cause I get my mom back) and my mom (because she gets normalcy back), but also the cat (because he will get his regularly scheduled 3 meals a day back).

I actually finished everything yesterday morning. Had some minor computer mishaps (a freak out is more like it, spyware/hacking messages destroy my moods but it seems to be fixed), but the last of the pieces was completed yesterday. Now to just get the con done. Part of me wants to go and part of me doesn't. But after all the work I've put into this one cosplay, I'll be damned if I don't go for at least the competition.

You'll have to tell me if Pan AM is any good; I didn't catch it either and I'm a little leery on if it will just make me angry or not.

I will def. tell you how I feel about Pan Am. Yeah, I'm a little worried about the things that might make me angry, but if I was able to go "okay, product of the time period setting" with Mad Men, hopefully I'll be able to do the same here.
