There is only one fandom

First off, thank you everyone for the awesome prompts! I've already started to write some of them and it's also given me an excuse to do a kick re-watch of Generation Kill, since there was a lot of Ray-Ray love going around this time ( Read more... )

I really have got to try and track down Justified, since by the sounds of it half the cast of The Pacific and BoB are cropping up in it. And it sounds good in its own right, too, which is a bonus.

Also, I do love Richard Speight Jr's habit of growing facial hair at the slightest provocation. He's one of the very few men I've come across who actually manages to look pretty good with a moustache.

I would def. track down Justified if you can. It's mostly the Raylan show, but there are some golden moments from the other cast. Jacob Pitts character never fails to crack me up with his sarcasm. The show's producers pretty much told him to play the character like it's Hoosier.

Also, Joshua Biton plays a character named Lucky during his guest spot. I kid you not.

Agreed on Richard Speight Jr. He has a face which just holds a moustache and/or beard well, along with looking nice while clean-shaven.

Seriously, watching all these shows, it's like, Spot the BoB/TP/GK actor! This is a game I really enjoy.

Keith Nobbs recently popped up on last season's In Plain Sight.

HOW AM I ONLY LEARNING THIS NOW.

It is one of my favorite games. I am still sad that besides the guy who played Walt, no other BoB/TP/GK actors have appeared on Blue Bloods with super intense, asskicking and sarcasm, Donnie.

I just learned about Keith Nobbs on IPS like, last week. I started to watch the first of the three episodes he did last season, and he was just SUCH a dorky, little penicl pusher in a suit. BUT look, IPS involves US Marshalls, and tech. Keith Nobbs played one. Justified is about US Marshalls, with our fav Sniper/Marshall, Deputy Tim. Again, just throwing that out there.

They should have gotten Matthew Settle up with Donnie, that would have been amazing.

Shan, you are the worst. See, how everybody else enables is to wrap everything up in CAPS and EXCITEMENT, so I get all caught up in what's happening that I promise writing the world. But you, you just INCEPT ideas, so they sit there and I find myself thinking about them when I'm doing things like cooking or riding my bike. THANK YOU SO MUCH, LOL.

(And Keith being a pencil pusher is adorable. Does he happen to idolise anybody?)

Oh god, I would LOVE to see Matthew Settle back in a role where he's being a badass and not a sorry excuse for a man. (And I say that with love.)

Damn, you've caught on to my subtle attempt to take over the world. It's my masterplan, really, to just quitely suggest and then sit back and laugh my evil laugh when 5 weeks later I get a simple "Damn you." in an e-mail.

(I still need to watch the other two Keith episodes, but from what I saw he SO idolized the two main marshall characters. It was clear he wanted to be them.)

Those callouts are awesome! I'm pretty much behind on all the tv in the world right now, so yay, now I can just watch the lovely cameos.

Now, if only Kirk Acevedo could get back on a regular show.
FOREVER THIS.

I'm pretty much to the point of just watching cameo episodes of shows like In Plain Sight and Treme, b/c I am seasons behind on both and just can't spare the time to watch them.

I really, really miss having Kirk on my tv at least once a week.
