I think concussion is only a concern when you actually lose consciousness. Nausea/vomiting, dizziness, loss of vision/blurriness can also be a sign. This I only know offhand because I was at the dr's recently in a similar situation. DON'T FORGET TO ICE IT UP FOR BRUISING! And you be careful!
Yeah, I don't think I actually have a concussion, but since my allergies had me dizzy and blurry visioned before I slammed my head, I'm just being cautious. BUT my pupils were reacting to light perfectly, so I'm pretty sure that's a damned good sign.
I have been one clusmy chickadee these past two weeks. I actually had one of my customer kids ask why I "have so many boo-boos" since both my hands were covered in band-aids.
Oh man does that sound painful :( Please be more careful! (Although from one accident-prone person to another, I realize this isn't saying much.) And hope all goes well at Carrie's appointment.
I've had some other pretty painful injuries, but seriously, this one take the prize for head-smacking.
And I shall, though I did hit the top of my head today getting out of the car, that pretty much happens every single time. I despise being accident-prone.
