I am sick (cold bordering on something-worse-than-a-cold territory), cursing mother nature, it's raining and in general just a blah day.

Which can only mean it's time for a LotR EE marathon. I'll just be over here for, what, 18 hours? Good times.

Well, it made me go back and finally start doing the re-editing/coding/posting of all my old fic. Ugh, near on ten years of fic is hard to look back on. But, you know, yay new project?

I'm supposed to be reading A Confederacy of Dunces but I started rereading Unfinished Tales last night. I miss reading Tolkien and the fandom it seems :(

You are not alone in missing Tolkien and fandom. Half-way through FotR, I turned the fim off, pulled out my old files, and started re-hauling/editing all of the Lullaby series. I tried to find some fic to read but, ugh, Tolkien fandom needs some new places on lj/DW. I know there should be a re-surge when The Hobbit films come out, but I want fic now.

Me too. I shouldn't admit it >_> but I do reread your stuff - too much - and I still haunt Henneth Annun and OSA. I'm so mad - there was another fic website and I can't remember for the life of me remember what it was. I'm rereading UT and this one fic is stuck in my head grrr!!

I am sorry you're re-reading all that with the poor technical writing quality in it b/c I am going back and CRINGING and re-writing major passages from the start. I still like the characters and the settings, ideas, etc but god, I need to hire an editor.

Whenever I read UT I get so pissed off at myself for not finishing more of the Gondolin Era. I have so many ideas and half-started fix.

I am def in the mood to write some Glor, Mor and the whole crew. I also really want to write some Gildor fic, no idea why, just in that mood. And Thranduil.
