-_- What do they mean you're not good enough?? They took your space and gave it to someone else??? Grr!! (you speak Vietnamese???? v_v)
You know, whenever I think of living somewhere, the first thing I think is curtains - I kid you not ^_^, I'm such an insanely private person, heehee....
Casanova was a weird movie. My little sister loves it although she keeps pronouncing Pucci's name wrong. Even yesterday she came up to me and said "Kiss my ring" I'm like "What??" "Bishop Pussy?..." lol!
*hug* Stay positive and strong. One more year, one more year ^^
They did, indeed, take my job and gave it to someone else. (And I don't speak Vietnamese, however, if I was replaced by someone who does--then I'd understand. Though, since the prof.'s research is based off of US Government documents from Vietnam, I don't know if speaking Vietnamese would help, but it certainly wouldn't hurt.)
Well, I have blinds/shades etc and I always keep those down and closed, but the light still leaks in and I like almost total darkness when I sleep. Hence my curtain-y need. I do understand though, I'm also big on the privacy.
I like Casanova on some levels, but I hate it one others. Your little sister though...that is classic, seriously, classic. ::Snorts::
::hugs back:: Thanks. I'll probably be bitching and moaning the entire way, because that's just me, but I'll be damned if this stops me from getting my degree (because, yes, I am that stubborn).
I'm still iffy about Casanova..there are parts I adored and parts that make me go, "oh, bad cheesy movie!" It's movie fluff though, a guilty pleasure, right up there with Heath's "A Knight's Tale" (Which I will admit to having a sad and strange love for.)
I agree about Casanova... I really loved the hot air ballon= witchcraft part, for some reason. And, I liked "A Knight's Tale" too, despite some of its specialness... lol, I own it actually.
I would say stupid, yes. Actually, I'd use much harsher words, but eh, not much I can do about it now.
I do have faith in karma, it's one thing that gets me through the day. Though, I may be running to China Town one of these days and buying more Good Luck Cats...and some more Buddha figures.
Thanks for the positive engergy! I'm sending some your way as well (if only to heal the pain of dial-up).
