And yes lol on SPN - that's true of Dean and I enjoy him getting to play the nurturer when he can. I saw a post though that Jensen is the same age as JDM was in S1, and Jack's actor is the same age that Jensen was in S1, and that is just weird to me.
The Milton book sounds delightfully fascinating. I love all the tidbits.
Okay, not to extrapolate with bad science but tbh this explains so much about masculine fragility: "testosterone in adolescents doesn’t make them aggressive as such; instead, it makes them more concerned with how they’re perceived by others"
