OK, just finished S1 of Farscape rewatch, and can we talk about how awesome 1x22, Family Ties was as an episode and a season ender? ( hard to call this spoilery, really, but if you haven't seen Farscape you should go and do that now )

I absolutely love the "MAH BOY CRAIS!" line and Browder's delivery of it.

Good ol' boy John is one of the most entertaining Johns. But I think you can also see the torture affecting him there, already.

Oh yes. The reason why I remember it so well is because that was where I went "Oh, NOW I see what everyone is talking about in terms of John's personality and development over the show". I wonder if Browder was told to do it that way, or if that scene was some kind of personal turning point for him where he gave up the last shreds of conventional macho hero-ness and embraced the total vulnerability.

Crackers Don't Matter from season 2 is still my favorite episode of Farscape. One of my favorite television moments of all time, actually.
