We saw Gypsy tonight. Bernadette Peters had the promised star power, though the show didn't impress me much as a musical. It's a big Broadway week for us -- we see Avenue Q, the Sesame Street parody, on Friday.
Funny you should mention this. I've got three boxes of old Trek zines in my office right now, and a couple of them have essays and fiction by one Lois McMaster, all from the early 70s.
Also, and to my mind more interesting, Lee Burwasser. I had had no idea she was involved in fandom that long ago. ::sigh::
Jack Randall escapes from a Farm, where clones are stored until their originals have a trauma that requires a new body part, with a bunch of the clones
Since this references Bujold (to me), I hope he can at least make me cry. The stories set on Jackson's Hole in the Vorkosigan 'verse are my favorites. Thanks for the review of Spares, Rivka.
I'm amused -- I just got Promethea 3 & 4 and Top Ten 1 & 2 myself last week. I like Promethea's premise better on the whole, but the magical mystery tour of the Kaballah drags something awful. Top Ten, to my surprise, was just a hell of a lot of fun--very tightly plotted, which helps.

She must have Mame on her list next. Unless it's Dolly Levi.
