that really is a good response! when i read an article written by someone who assumes that all fanfic writers are adolescent girls, i just shake my head. i'll be 60 this summer, but i still want more when a story or film or tv show hits me so right that i'm not ready for it to end. if there's no fandom for it, i'll write my own stories (or just write them in my head). it seems simple to me. maybe i'm just simple-minded, though. ;)
