6. Wow -- I'd never wondered what might have happened if Mary Winchester had raised her sons on her own, but I think you've nailed it. And it's interesting that, with Mary willing to forgive Sam for leaving, Dean doesn't feel he has to.

8. Love the notion of Lex secretly keeping Jason Teague alive for answers and possible future use, and I love Lex's assessment of Jason. That line about Lex recognizing the way Genevieve touched her son gave me (delighted) shivers.

9. Thanks so much for taking this prompt -- your ficlet is awesome! I adore Lex's thinking, even muddled by drugs (or maybe especially muddled by drugs), and I adore his reaction to Clark and Clark's powers. And Clark kissed him! *bounces madly*

Thanks! As to Dean's forgiveness, I think people often play the roles in their families that they fit, and Mary's acceptance definitely made it possible for Dean to allow himself more anger.

Jason was a misused character, as so many on SV were; I had no interest in him or in Ian Somerhalder's character, and yet I find the actors' current roles fascinating.

Shattered and Asylum just broke me. I can't help wishing that it had been different, so it was easy to imagine that.

Those episodes broke me, too. *shudders, remembering*

I can't help wishing that it had been different, so it was easy to imagine that.

You could probably write a few dozen stories on how it could have gone differently in many, many ways.... *subtly nudges*

Aaaaaand Lex remains dark and damaged even with Clark's rescue. Then again, with an opponent like Lionel...

Well done! :D

The Jason Teague one is absolutely intriguing and fascinating. I - I have always thought that Jason was the dude that got shafted by the writers. Started off nice (but boring), and when he went nuts I was very impressed.

But yeah, um, Jason working for Lex. Um, yeah. Hot!

Thank you! His character got jerked around in weird ways, I agree.

I sort of imagine Jason helping Lex now that Lex is on the run out there in the world.
