OK, so I have unilaterally extended Hanukah. Also, apparently my old AOL account was hacked. Sorry! I have changed the password and deleted all the contacts. If you get email from rivkat at AOL, that won’t be me unless you emailed me at that address.

"Winged Victory" is AWESOME, and totally believable, and utterly soul-satisfying. *melts* Though I do wonder if anything beyond that passionate kiss will ever happen in this universe between Dean and Castiel, and how Sam will feel about it if it does. Maybe during next year's Eight Nights...? *crosses fingers*

Terrific SPN/Firefly crossover, too. Lucifer's command of the Reavers is seriously creepy, and I love the image of Dean, Sam and Castiel aboard Serenity. *bounces*

And I love the Fringe fic, too, though I have yet to see the latest episode of the show. Peter's "You're just a shapeshifter with an extremely limited repertoire" is pure genius. *squees*

Thank you! I don't know about Dean & Castiel--I'm all about the threesomes these days, so maybe!

I'm not sure how Castiel would fit into a crew, but then he does have a lot of experience taking orders. Just not Mal's orders.

Fringe is just so good this season. You have a treat waiting!

Dean felt him, rushing through their connection and pooling inside Dean’s chest, somehow. First the fat little baby Dean had held in his arms, returning to him. Then the bouncy little kid who’d thought Dean was Superman. Then the smart, worried shrimp who’d started to notice that their lives weren’t like anybody else’s. Then the sullen teen, still before his growth spurt but full of enough resentment for six ordinary guys. Then the boy who’d left for Stanford, stiff-necked and dreaming big; Dean almost wished he could stop there, but he knew better. The vengeful young man, the one Dean had secretly thought was amazing even as he was baffled by Sam’s choices. The seasoned hunter, anger hardening to a rage so solid it was baked into his bones. The addict, so certain of what he was doing, so furious at the world. At last, the terrified hero, the one who’d been hardest for Dean to see, but who was the sum of all of them, the one who’d been trapped here for eternities. Sam, curled up inside him like the whole world in a drop of water.I ( ... )

Thank you! I really, really can't wait for Sam to get his soul back. What's so interesting to me, but also painful, is how Sam's situation makes it impossible for Dean to function properly.

I didn't read the last as I hope SOMEDAY to actually start watching Fringe,

but I really enjoyed the weary pathos of the second (nice Mal POV)

and OF COURSE a Winchester walking into hell for his brother will never not be awesome.

I really enjoyed your description of Dean's wings and how Dean's self-manifestation turned out to be surprisingly whole and non-empty-space-inside-y. This sentence in particular (turned out that, in Hell, the wings were knife-edged and very, very fast on the draw) was so vivid that I heard the sound effect in my mind. The wings were almost like another character throughout.

You have so much wonderful Fringe in front of you, then! I can't wait--maybe you'll want to vid it!

I'm glad you liked Mal, and the wings. I think this might be my first wingfic ever.

*Flails at the awesomeness*

Lucifer armed with reavers is maybe the most terrifying thing I can think of. And "We shut down Hell, and you go and create something even worse all on your own. It truly makes me wonder what our father saw in you." is a fabulous line. Thank you so much--I loved this!!

I'm glad you liked it! I never would have tried the crossover without the suggestion, but it was fun!
