Fan the vote?

The LJ user representative election is ongoing, and I think it may be worthwhile to vote, if only to show that there are people who take this more seriously than the lead non-fandom candidate does. I can't resist Joss or Eliza Dushku, so I won't be able to miss it. There's a chance it will be disastrous, of course.

I may be confused about this, but isn't legomymalfoy very active on fandom_wank?

I want to vote against jameth but I don't want to vote for something I really find distasteful, either.

Any help clarifying is appreciated.

I don't follow fandom_wank well enough to know, I'm afraid. legomymalfoy wasn't actually my first choice, because I'm not sure someone on the abuse team is the right person to serve as a user representative. However, synecdochic, whose opinion on matters LJ I respect a lot, did endorse her. There's a link roundup here; legomymalfoy has FictionAlley experience, among other things, if that is something that matters to you.

The link round-up was very useful, thanks. I've now done my democratic duty - also, you remind me I have a message to respond to from you. Is that still a live issue? Sorry not to get back to you - I've been at INTA in Berlin for the last week plus.

No, it's not a live issue any more; I found an alternate route. I hope INTA was fun -- I've only ever been to one midyear meeting, and found it extremely luxurious. It was at a resort in Florida. Academic conferences are usually not at resorts, sadly.
