I realized I hadn’t posted anything about Thanksgiving, even though I talked about the prep for several days beforehand.

( Rambling about Thanksgiving and the weekend afterwards. Feel free to skip. )

Sadly you were NOT the only ones working Friday. I had actually put in for a VACATION day so that I could spend the entire day with my mom (it was her birthday) and got a call at home mid day Thursday from my secretary saying "my kid is sick I wont be there Friday" so I got to go in. In her defense, the kid was in the hospital, and yes by Monday he was home and doing ok.

I'm glad you had a good Thanksgiving spent with friends. Sorry we couldn't hang out sometime during the weekend.

On the computer:
Would a P4 with 1GB Ram be helpful?

We have elanurel's old computer. She was complaining of problems, but I think reloading the OS will solve the problems.

I also wish you both could have joined us, or at least had some "hanging with friends time" over the weekend. It would have been good.

Regarding the computer ...
Uh, yeah, a P4 with a gig of Ram would trump what I've got by several orders of magnitude. What do you want for it?

Nothing really. We were going to strip out a few parts, and then recycle it.

We will need to load a fresh version of the OS on it, but it should be fine. Perhaps you could come by sometime this month, and we can rebuild it for you.

Thank you! I would be happy to be where it gets recycled to, then. :) I could certainly come by almost anytime this month. We can swap over to e-mail to settle a date, if you like.
