I think I'll be taking three classes this fall, mainly because one class doesn't give me homework, but I might not take that class... Never mind. Money won't be an issue. I still have plenty of paper. Anyway ( Read more... )

one of my interpreter friends was in charge of that kodna-sha thingy or something. or at least related to it. she's a very nice person~.

I have a question for her (or you).

The contest said that the deadline for the submissions is: "last acceptable postmark/backstamp on or before December 31st."

Does that mean that it needs to be in Japan by the 31st, or in the mail by the 31st?

since it says "last acceptable POSTMARK/BACKSTAMP on or before...," so i assume as long as it's postmarked by dec 31, it's okay? i'll relay your message to her though.

Yeah... my concern though, is that it gets stamped every office it goes through. By the time it got to Japan, it'd be past the 31st... :'( So far everyone says that it just needs to be in the mail, but it's Japan... Whole other continent, language, culture... they might do things differently D:! *frets*
