ALERT: beware of mating pidgeons around the SUB. They may be found strutting around, puffing out their chests, cooing and necking. Also present may be crows gathering material for their nests.
I saw 2 crows jumping on each other's backs in the middle of the street/boulevard of Wesbrook Mall.
Also, as I was walking home, I saw a crow swoop down on a road kill mouse, spread its wings over the mouse, flick its tail up and make particular crowing sounds. This was a fat crow. A skinny quickly joined its mate. As soon as the fat crow saw me looking at him, he slowly slunk away as his mate guarded the mouse. When I walked further along the street, this fat crow slunk back to its prey.
I also witnessed a crow gathering mud from the field in front of the bus loop.
