Well, I graduated a couple of weeks ago. That was an interesting day... a large part of my family attended the ceremony and even more came to the party afterward, including my Uncle Fran and Aunt Mary. I've seen them three times this year and every time they have succeded in making me cry. He's always had the idea that I would be a writer. In ( Read more... )

Congratulations on graduating :-* I'm proud of you. Sob my little Shannon is all grown up.

You will find the right thing, just give yourself time, and realize that it might not come in the form you are expecting.

If you want information or a contact for teaching in Korea let me know. Barry is still there and aside from being homesick he likes it. He didn't have any teaching experience or any jobs aside from being a waiter before he went to Korea.

I think I've figured out where I want to work for the time being, but I haven't applied for a job there yet. I'm keeping it to myself until I get hired ;)

We should get together if you have some free time.

Hey sweetie:) Thank you for the encouraging words, most necessary right now and always a comfort. And as for more info on teaching in Korea, I'd love it. And I'm glad to hear that you have a lead on a job, I'll be keeping my fingers crossed for you.

I haven't been on the computer since I posted this entry and I'm not exactly sure what has happened the last couple of days, but I hope that you are okay, sweetie. I know you are hurting and I wish there was something I could do to help you feel better. Even if the new year hasn't been so happy thus far, I hope that as it progresses, you find healing and joy and peace.

If you'd like to hang out some time this week, that would be great. Maybe I can cheer you up:) Let me know, sweetie and if you even just need to talk, I am here.

Take care,
Shannon

Next time I talk to Barry I'll see what I can find out for you.

Thanks I still haven't sent my resume, life got in the way.

I'm sure you have some idea and I can fill you in if you like, if we get together. You offering care and concern helps, and I appreciate it a lot. I just wish I could fast forward this part and get to a part that hurts a little less.

I'd love to hang out. The only plans I have are picking my mom and Rod up from the airport on Wednesday night. Let me know when is good for you.

*hugs* I hope that part comes soon.

Well, we could hang out Tuesday or Thursday. Maybe just get dinner or go somewhere and talk. Whatever you'd like would be great.

I just realised that you friended me, and I'm shamefully behindhand in friending you back. Sorry! Anyway, you're on my list now. Congrats (late) for graduating - I was there myself not long ago.

Hey:) Thanks for friending back. I really enjoy reading your stories of your stay in the UK. Lucky girl;) And thanks for the Congrats. It feels so strange that that part of my life is done, for now anyway.
