One thing I hoped to do while I was in LA was to see a screening of "Possession." I'd been waiting for the movie for two years, so I thought it'd be cool to see an advanced screening. I found out that there would be a screening at LACMA with Neil LaBute to speak afterward. I was so excited and I actually got the last ticket:) So I went alone

I really liked Donnie DArko too, it confused the hell out of me, so that made me like it even more. I saw it like a month ago and that song from the end is still stuck in my head, just those few lines..

It was confusing... I feel like I need to see it again so I can attempt to figure it out. I love the song too. It's called "Mad World" which was orginally done by Tears for Fears, but was remade by Gary Jules for the film. I've been listening to it a lot the last few days.

heh, that's so funny that is a Tears for Fears song, I used to listen to them when I was younger but I don't remember that song.
I was quite confused by the film as well, by the end the best conclusion I could come to was that it was all some kind of hallucination, alternate world or a trip through time type thing that was mentioned in the movie. I'd like to watch it again as well, to see if I can make any more sense out of it.

I never saw Donnie Darco even though it has both Drew Barrymore and Noah Wyle in it.

I miss you I hope you're doing well. It's funny there is something I want to talk to you about before I start posting about it in my journal. If I don't get to I guess you'll just have to catch up to it there.

Hey sweetie:) I've missed you too. Things are going relatively well for me. School is just piling everything on and work is alternately shitty/fabulous, depending on where I am and who I'm with. I need to start looking for a new job, where I don't know. How are you? Work going well? I read your posts from today, but I'm not sure if you have mentioned that thing you want to talk to me about. Is it about the "wonderful boy who is so sweet..."? I have a feeling he's someone I know... I miss talking with you... email just isn't the same sometimes.
