Sylar had not been particularly pleased to discover that the castle was open to everyone and his cousin. He'd decided to stalk the halls a bit, checking out the newcomers. Since, of course, he hadn't been down to the barracks in days.

He hadn't known what to expect, really, but he didn't recognize the person in the halls. He wandered farther down the hallway, eyeing Pyro curiously.

He jerked his chin in a nod to the guy who was eyeing him. What was up with that? "S'up?" he inquired, one hand slipping into his pocket, withdrawing his lighter. The familiar motions began - click-fwoosh-snap - and his lips quirked into a little grin.

Oh, he knew it was annoying. Half the time, that was why he did it.

Sylar spared the lighter a glance, but that was all of his attention he thought it warranted.

"Not much," he replied, "You moving in then?"

Not that it wasn't obvious, but he was playing nicey-nicey for the time being. Until he had a reason not to. Or felt like it. The lighter, for instance. Wouldn't it be ever so amusing if it just went flying across the room?

After all, Sylar could tell this one had something he wanted. If there weren't a rule about infighting .... well, it might have been a different story.

He shrugged. "Dunno if I like being so close to the geeks in charge," Pyro said honestly.

Because it was true enough. The barracks might not be fantastic, but they did put some distance between him and the stiffs in the castle.

He continued to flip open the lighter and snap it closed, lighting the flame in between. "What about you? You live here?"
