Sylar glanced up from the window he'd been staring rather disinterestedly at. He smiled grimly.

"An unhappy development?" he suggested, and he moved from the window to face the angel, even going so far as to take a couple steps toward him.

"No," he said curtly. "This is my happy face." It wasn't right to take out his ire on Sylar, and he sighed, attempting to shake it off and explain in a civil, rational manner.

"Someone ... someone we know, showed up. One of Icetenari's sons. Her black Chaos dragon son. Who happens to think he has some right to rule here, to run the show." To take my place, he thought but didn't say.

Acevona wouldn't really let the boy in to rule, not if she could help it - but the question was, could she help it?

Sylar lingered back, though some part of him wanted to comfort his lover, a rather foreign sensation from what he was used to.

"We're worried about it then," he suggested, and he wondered if he should be worried. Another body in the castle might not be a good thing. He didn't even get along with half of the people in the castle now, and he hardly saw how another might affect that.

"He can hurt you," Nenael murmured softly, but abruptly. "I don't ... mean he's going to, but he can." He wasn't sure how better to express his concern that his lover tread cautiously around Damion.

"The others ..." he made a sweeping gesture toward the wall to indicate the rest of the castle. "They're nothing next to him."

He crossed his arms over his chest, agitated. "He's taking a room here. I hope one far away from ours, but ... in the castle all the same."
