O-Ren was in a bit of a mood. Not only did she not have a sparring partner, she had no one to boss around either. No ladders to climb, and no heads to collect. She'd yet to discover the caves, as well, so that was out.

Sword sheathed and at hand, she ambled about, a scowl on her face.

There was a new face, though Chase was somewhat leery of approaching someone who was scowling like that. Still, the paths they were on were bound to cross sooner or later, unless one of them made a move out of said path.

So when they were within conversational distance, he offered her a nod and a wave of one hand. He really wanted to know what her skills were, though judging by the sword, he had a fair idea.

She inclined her head slightly in acknowledgment, and made an attempt to rearrange her features into a slightly less menacing expression. It was not this individual's fault she was irritated.

"Good morning," she offered, voice a little guarded, though not because she was suspicious of him.

More because that was just the way she went about things until she had the opportunity to judge the situation entirely. Find out whose toes could be stepped on and whose couldn't. This man looked harmless enough, but then so did everyone else. And they couldn't all be flower throwers.

"Morning," Chase replied with an easy smile. "New here?" he asked conversationally. "Haven't seen you around before." He kept his easy grin in place, though he wondered how it looked on Caleb's face, and the grin nearly became a smirk before he caught himself.

In the vein of playing his 'I'm really from here' card, Chase extended a hand to the woman to shake - if she was at all inclined. "Ryan Belmont," he said, because Jacob belonged to his old face, and for all he knew, Acevona knew his real name and had warned people about him.
