What is Blocking, Grunge and Decorative accents?

Blocking is basically divided your icon in sections. Grunge is making your icon look not clear and dirty looking. Almost kind of rustic looking. Decorative accents can be a lot of things. There little things you can add to your icon like a crown if you iconing a princess or something just a kind of decorative for your icon.
