So in spanish and italian there's a word, ciao, that means hello or goodbye, informally. You all know that.
In english there's a way of saying good bye, I'll see you later, shortened to I'll see you, shortened to 'see you, pronounced, when said quickly, as ciyou. -

I got to drive a U-haul!
that was exciting. Somehow made me feel like a five year-old playing with toy trucks. I even made engine noises to myself, briefly, and then felt silly. -

So Agusto Pinochet died yesterday, and Al Jazeera's article on the subject was the absolute worst of any of the articles I saw (AOL was actually one of the best, for a bizzare switch on who I usually agree with) But al jazeera had the funnies fluke in theirs: A photo, captioned "supporters gather outside the hospital" or something like that, below ( Read more... ) -
