The Midas is a short-range ship: bulky, heavy-browed, dingy outside and in. He is, however, moderately constrained by his knowledge of the Midas's layout, which means that he and his cargo, such as she is, emerge from flickering shadow in the cargo bay, just to the left of a small land-transport mule.
Galadan would attempt to keep from staggering, but he's been in and out of Milliways multiple times in a very short span.
That, and he did some prying into mortal brains that were not made for such mind contact as he is capable.
Even the fading remnants of a splitting headache require a moment of extra concentration to begin to ignore.
At least he stays silent during this brief chance to regroup.

Voices echo down the cargo bay stairs, indistinct and jocular, but no one's in here with them. The room is silent but for the quiet breathing of the two new arrivals.
